"Summer time.... and the living is easy..." dice la canción (me encanta Ella Fitzgerald). Bueno, ahora que hemos acabado la última tanda de encargos lo será. O al menos hasta que os decidáis a pedir más cositas.

"Summer time... and the living is easy..." as the song says (I love Ella Fitzgerald). Well, it will be now that we've finish last bunch of orders. At least until you decide to ask for more.

Yo voy a seguir "trabajando" en mi nuevo rinconcito. No está acabado, le faltan un montón de detalles, y no es el rincón perfecto pero cuando hay un poco de brisa se está fantásticamente bien. Además, mi costillo ha comprado un altavoz tipo barra y bueno, ya véis cómo va quedando.

I will keep working in my new corner. It is not finished, there are many details missing, and it is not the perfect corner but when there is a little breeze it feels really good. Also, hubby got a bar speaker and well, you see how it's going.

Y sí, ahí podéis ver el trabajo que os enseño hoy cuando aún estaba a medias (me voy a buscar un icono que sea una barra de progreso para cuando esté trabajando).

And yes, you can see theres the last piece of work I'm showing you today when it was just a PhD (I'm looking for a progress bar icon so I can use it when I'm working on some project).

Sí señor@s, lo habéis adivinado. Es un Jack Skellington. Otro reto. En realidad no ha sido especialmente desafiante. Y sin embargo me ha servido para probar técnicas nuevas. O mejor dicho diferentes. Simplemente no he trabajado como hago habitualmente con los broches pero me encanta el resultado.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you gess it correct. It is a Jack Skellington face. Another challenge. Not specially challenging to be honest. However it was great to try new techniques. Different techniques, best said. I just didn't work the way I use to with brooches but I love the outcome.

Una amiga me pidió un broche con la cara de este personaje, en fieltro y de aproximadamente 5 cm. Bueno, ha quedado un pelín más grande, son 6 cm de ancho pero yo creo que ha valido la pena ¿no os parece? A mí por lo menos me encanta el resultado. A mi costillo también por que en cuanto lo vio empezó a pedir cosas para él. 

A friend asked me for a brooch with this character face, made of felt and aproximately 2 inches wide. Well, it is a bit bigger, 2.36 inches but I think it is worth it, what do you think? I really love how it turned out in the end. I guess hubby loves it too 'cause as soon as he saw it he started asking for items for him.
