Enfermera amigurumi / Amigurumi scrubs

Hi everyone.

No tengo excusa. Tengo la cabeza a pájaros, me he despistado y no he publicado como cada viernes. Prometo compensaros (aún no sé cómo pero algo se me ocurrirá). La vuelta de las vacaciones suele ser un torbellino y cuesta un poco ponerse las pilas. Basta de excusas y vamos a lo que nos interesa.

I don't have any excuse. I have my head in the clouds, I got sidetracked and haven't published the Friday's post. I promise I will make it up for it (I still don't know how but I'll find a way). Return from holidays is usually hard time and it takes a bit to engage with the routine. Enough excuses, let's go for it.

Os he hablado varias veces de mi faNmilia. En serio, es la mejor manera de describir a los que me rodean. Siempre recibo retroalimentación positiva por su parte y además les suele gustar lo que hago (no siempre es lo mismo). Obviamente eso sube muchísimo la moral y este es un ejemplo.

I've told you about my faNmily before. Really, it's the best way to describe those surrounding me. I always got positive feedback on their side and they usually like what I do (it is not always the same thing). Obviously it raises the spirits a lot and this is the perfect example.

Tengo una enfermera en la familia (sin más detalles, que no vienen al caso). El trabajo de hoy es un homenaje para ella y TODOS los demás profesionales del sector que tanto han hecho por nosotros en estos tiempos difíciles. Han sido momentos muy duros en los que han dado el 150% y necesitan nuestra ayuda. Una de las mejores formas en que podemos ayudar es seguir siendo cuidadosos, respetando las directrices por muy molestas que puedan ser, usando mascarillas, etc. No voy a usar el blog para hacer apología de mis ideas pero sí voy a recordar la importancia de que cada uno aportemos nuestro granito de arena para, por lo menos, no estropear lo que ya se ha conseguido.

There is a nurse in the family (no more details needed). Today's piece of work is a tribute to her and ALL the people of the health sector who have done so much for us in these difficult days. There have been really tough times and they have given 150% and they need our help. One of the best ways we can do it is being careful, respecting the guidelines no matter how bothering it can be, using our face masks, etc. I'm no using the blog to present my ideas buy I'm going to remind you of how important is that everybody contributes in order to, at least, don't spoil what we have already accomplished.

And now, with no more delays, I introduce you to the brave nurse.

Está hecha siguiendo el patrón de Laura Tegg, su muñequita Weebee. He tenido que hacer algunas adaptaciones del patrón por distintas razones, la principal es que he usado otros materiales (algodón Natura de DMC y un acrílico) y la secundaria que la he adaptado un poquito a mi gusto y mis habilidades.

It's made following a pattern from Laura Tegg, her Weebee doll. I had to adapt the pattern a bit since I used different materials (Natura DMC cotton and an acrylic yarn) and I wanted to adapt it a bit to my liking and abilities.

Al final le cosí algunas piezas para asegurarlas en su sitio y que no bailaran demasiado.

In the end I stitched some pieces to fix them in the right place.

Al final esta señorita mide aproximadamente 15cm de alto, con sus ojitos de seguridad (como era para una adulta - o eso dice ella ;P -). 

This little lady is aproximately 15cm (almost 6 inches) high, with safety eyes (since it was meant for an adult - or so she says :P - ).

Y solo me queda compartiros una foto de la enfermerilla con su prima que hice hace tiempo. Esta "se la he robado" a la dueña de su Instagram.

I just want to add a picture of the nurse with her cousin which I made some time ago. This picture "I have stolen" from the owner's Instagram.

Se nota la mejora en la técnica, ¿no? Todo se consigue con tiempo y paciencia.

You can see how my technique has improved, right? Everything is possible with a bit of time and patience.
